Devin Chuba Named Head Women's Soccer Coach

St. Bonifacius, Minn. – Crown College Athletics is excited to announce Devin Chuba as the next Head Women's Soccer Coach for the Polars.

Most recently Chuba was the Head Girls Soccer Coach at Zimmerman High School and the Director of Operations at Boreal FC in Otsego, Minnesota. In 2024 he led the Thunder to finish as the Class 6AA Section Runner-Up.

"The women's soccer program has incredible potential, and my vision is to continue to build it from the inside out on a foundation rooted in Christ and guided by biblical truth. Together, we'll cultivate a culture of excellence, character, and purpose, growing not only as a team, but as individuals called to something greater, " said Chuba.

Chuba is familiar with the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference both as a player and a coach at UM-Morris. In his time as an athlete at UM-Morris he was named 1st Team All-UMAC in 2014, played in 74 matches totaling 14 goals and 37 points.

"I am incredibly humbled by the opportunity to lead the Crown College Women's Soccer Program.  I want to thank President Dr. Andrew Denton, Director of Athletics Steve Tebbs, and the hiring committee for entrusting me with the leadership of this program. I am excited to get started!" said Chuba.

After his playing career Chuba was an assistant men's soccer coach and the head men's tennis coach at Minnesota-Morris. The Cougars men's soccer team went 14-13-1 in two seasons.

"We are excited to welcome Devin to the Polars Family. He brings a wealth of soccer experience both as a former player and coach in the UMAC. More importantly, he loves Jesus and will lead with Christ at the center of the Crown Women's Soccer program," said Director of Athletics Steve Tebbs

He graduated from UM-Morris in 2015 with a degree in Financial and Organizational Management. Chuba is originally from Elk River, Minnesota and graduated from Elk River High School in 2011.

He is married to Madi Chuba and has two wonderful children, Wesley and Lincoln.
