Steve Tebbs was named the Director of Athletics in January 2024. Tebbs oversees all 18 NCAA Division III athletics programs competing in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference.
Tebbs brings over 25 years of athletic operations experience and leadership in athletics. Tebbs has spent the past few years as a Professor of Sports Management at North Central University since 2019 and served as the Faculty Athletic Representative. Prior to this he spent over 17 years as the Director of Athletic Facilities and Operations at Sacramento State, an NCAA Division 1 institution. He also spent a short stint as the Operations Manager for the Sacramento Kings.
Tebbs obtained his undergraduate degree in Communications and Public Relations from Sacramento State. He received his masters degree in Sport Management from Western Kentucky University.
