New Ulm, Minn. – The Polars men's golf team competed at the MLC Invite on Thursday afternoon, finishing fifth overall. Adam Thomas led the way with a top-10 performance.

Thomas shot a 9-over 79 to place seventh individually. First-year duo Lucas Jorgenson and Carter Miller narrowly missed the top 10, each tying for 11th with rounds of 81.

Nathan Halseth, Ethan Erickson, Angel Cottington, and Tristan Youngblood also competed for the Polars.

This marked the team's second competition of the spring season. The Polars will wrap up their season on Monday, April 27, at Indian Hills Golf Club in Stillwater, Minnesota, in another event hosted by Martin Luther.
