Becker, Minn. - The Polars Golf Team's traveled to Becker to golf Pebble Creek Golf Club for the UMAC Championships. It was a three day tournament in which the Polars finished in 7th place.
Not the finish the Polars were hoping for this weekend at the UMAC Championship. They finished just two strokes behind the team ahead of them. It was
Adam Thomas with the teams best score at 241 (+25). Thomas got better each round throughout the weekend, shooting an 85, followed by an 81 and a 75. Freshman
Lucas Jorgenson was the teams second best golfer for the weekend, being consistent in the mid to low 80's all three rounds.
Grant Oakland and
Nathan Halseth finished within one stroke of each other, as Halseth finishes his weekend with an 82. It was
Carter Miller rounding out the scoring for the Polars.
The UMAC Championships will bring a close to the fall season for the Polars.
