St. Bonifacius, Minn. — Crown women's soccer celebrated Senior Day on Wednesday night, honoring five Polars at halftime before falling 3-1 to the University of Northwestern in a UMAC match up at home.

The afternoon was centered around recognizing the contributions of seniors Rachel Fuller, Hayden Pederson, Olivia Lyden, Abbey Underdahl, and Brayli Reimer, who were celebrated for their commitment to the Crown soccer program during a special halftime ceremony.

On the pitch, Eva Starkey provided the lone goal for the Polars, continuing her strong season of offensive contributions. Between the posts, senior Rachel Fuller added another impressive performance to her career resume, tallying eight saves on the night. 

Crown will now turn its focus to the regular season finale. The Polars head downtown on Saturday to face North Central in their final conference match up of the year.
