Buffalo Lake, Minn. - The Men's Golf Team traveled to Oakdale Golf Course in Buffalo Lake to compete in the MLC Invite, where they finished in sixth place. 

The Polars saw a new golfer take over with the best score again Saturday with Freshman Lucas Jorgenson leading the way with a 77 (+5). This was good enough to tie for 13th place overall. The scores for the team were even tighter Saturday, with only five strokes separating all five Polars golfers. It was Adam Thomas finishing second on the team with an 80 (+8), and Nathan Halseth finished just one stroke behind Thomas with an 81 (+9). Grant Oakland joined the teams scoring, tieing Halseth with an 81 (+9). Carter Miller was just one stroke off the pace of Halseth and Oakland shooting an 82 (+10). The Polars had another consistent team effort on Saturday.

The both the men's and women's golf teams will compete Tuesday, September 30 in the rescheduled President's Cup against North Central. The men tee off at 10:00am, and the women tee off at 11:30 am at Island View Golf Course in Waconia.
