Morton, Minn. - The Polars Golf teams battled with Martin Luther College on Wednesday and both the men and women came out on top.

The Polars women were led by
Kendall Clark with a score of 83 (+11). The trio of
Shelby Cash,
Lexi Thomas, and
Brynn Gustafson each scored under 90. Cash with an 86 (+14), Thomas with an 87 (+15), and Gustafson with an 89 (+17). As a team the Polars scored 345 and topped the Knights by over fifty strokes.

The Polars men faced off in a match play dual with the Knights. Despite the lower overall team score Crown came out on top after a dramatic playoff hole ending. The two teams tied in match play 3-3 after
Nathan Halseth,
Steven Petkau, and
Ryan Kardell won their match ups. Kardell went on to play the playoff sudden death on the 4
th hole after a series that went, birdie, bogey, par, par to close out the contest.
