St. Bonifacius, Minn. - The Polars Golf teams took to their home course for the first round of the regular season on Friday.
It was a sunny August day of golf for Crown and
Titus Wookey led the way for the Polars when he shot a stunning 75 (+3).
Adam Thomas shot under an eighty with a score of 79 (+7). In the end the Polars men fell by one stroke as a team with the scores just one stroke apart at 324 to 323.
The Crown women were led by the likes of the dynamic duo of
Kendall Clark and
Shelby Cash. Clark scored an 85 (+13) and Cash scored and 87 (+15). As a team the Polars women fell by a significant margin in total strokes.
Both teams will be back in action next Tuesday, September 3rd for the Northwestern Invite in Maplewood, Minnesota with a 9am tee off time.
