Buffalo Lake, MN - The Polars golf teams battled against Martin Luther on Wednesday at Oakdale Golf Club for the first competition of the spring.
In the men's dual, Crown defeated Martin Luther 4-1 in match play competition.
Drake Dawson shot an 82 and defeated Paul Frick by three strokes.
Titus Wookey shot an 81 and earned a match play win.
Nathan Halseth and
Steven Petkau both defeated their matchup with scores of 83 and 82.
Adam Thomas shot an 81 and lost in match play.
The women's match did not count towards an official match due to the Knights not having a fourth golfer. The Polars women were led by
Kendall Clark who shot an 84.
Shelby Cash finished with the second best score for the Polars women with a 92 and
Lexi Thomas shot a 93.
The Polars will next face off with Northwestern in a dual on Monday, April 22nd with an 11am start on the Polars home course at Island View in Waconia, Minnesota.
