Prior Lake, MN - Polars Men's and Women's Golf faced off with the Macalester Scots on Friday morning. The men came out on top narrowly defeating the Scots by 10 strokes with the teams scores ending at 326-336. The women dropped the dual with a team score of 389 compared to the Scots 337.

Steven Petkau took the top spot with a score of 78 (+6). Drake Dawson and Adam Thomas followed suit with scored of 81 (+9) and 82 (+10). Nathan Halseth and Charlie West rounded the five competitors for Crown with scores of 85 (+13) and 99 (+27).

The Crown women were led by newcomer Shelby Cash the freshman out of Clovis, California. Cash finished the day with a score of 86 (+14) with took the third spot. Kendall Clark, Lexi Thomas, Allie Johnson, and Ashley Larson round out the five Polars competing.

Crown will have a few days off and head back to the links on Tuesday, September 5th for the Northwestern Invite in St. Michael, Minnesota at Fox Hollow Golf Club with a 10am start.
