Columbia, SC - The Polars track and field teams headed to the NCCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships this week and represented Crown totaling two event champions and 5 total All-Americans.
Ella Dufault won the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 11:12.40 good for a new school record and an All-American finish. The women's 4x800m relay team consisting of
Mia Arroyo,
Lindsey Morrison,
Ella Dufault, and
Ruth Brueckner earned a 1st place finish with a time of 9:11.62 a new school record as they all earned NCCAA All-American.
Ruth Brueckner took 2nd in the 800m and set a school record with a time of 2:13.10.
Lindsey Morrison also took 7th in the 800m.
For the Crown men
Austin Carlson took 3rd place in the 1500m run with a time of 3:59.00 a new school record topping a previous record that was held by Seth Brickley and earned All-American.
Andrew Deedon took 6th in the 3000m Steeplechase and set a new school record breaking his previous record.
Steven Petkau took 5th in the triple jump with a mark of 13.83m.
Polars track and field wraps up their historic 2025 season with 2 individual event NCCAA national champions and 5 total NCCAA All-Americans.
