Superior, Wis. – The Polars men's track and field team competed at the UMAC Outdoor Championships and took 3rd place.
Nate Tomlinson took 4th in the 100m dash with a school record time of 11.08. Tomlinson placed 3rd in the 200m and 2nd in the 400m. Ashton Hosler placed 5th in the 400m hurdles.
Caden Swoboda won the 800m with a time of 1:57.71 and took 2nd in the 1500m with a time of 4:11.59. David Tuttle took 2nd in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 10:18.75 and also placed sixth in the 5000m scoring three points for Crown. The Polars relay team of Nate Tomlinson, Casey Struthers, Kaden Pullam, and Eddie Hallowanger set a school record time in the 4x100m relay.
Alexander Burnham and TJ Nelson combined to score 6 points in throwing events. The Polars 4x400m relay team took first as Crown went on to finish in 3rd place tying the school's highest finish in the UMAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
