Northfield, Minn. – The Polars track and field teams competed at the Carleton Relays on Saturday and totaled 4 school records.
Caden Swoboda broke the school record in the 400m with a time of 52.12, a record previously held by Josh Coleman.
Andrew Deedon took 1
st place at the meet in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 10:12.07.
Alexander Burnham broke his own record in the hammer throw with a mark of 39.82m. Burnham and
Steven Petkau took first in the shot put and triple jump at the event.
For the Crown women
Ruth Brueckner broke her own record in the 800m run with a time of 2:18.90.
Brayli Reimer won the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:08.64.
Camille Ring took 2
nd in the 100m and 3
rd in the 100m hurdles.
Ella Dufault shattered the 5000m school record with a time of 18:48.22.
The Polars outdoor track and field teams will have one final outdoor meet prior to the UMAC outdoor championships. Crown heads to the Drake alternative in St. Peter, Minnesota on Saturday, April 26
th starting at 10:30am.
