Track and Field Sets Four School Records at the Bethel Invitational

St. Paul, Minn. – The Polars track and field teams competed at the Bethel Invitational on Saturday and set four school records at the event. 

Ella Dufault took 2nd in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 11:26.00 a season best. Olivia Stanley and Gracelyn Foster set new personal bests in the same event. Camille Ring finished the 100m with a time of 12.96s. Ruth Brueckner set a school record in the 800m with a time of 2:20.06 

For the Crown men Alexander Burnham once again broke his record for the Discus throw with a distance of 40.15m and also set a school record in the Hammer Throw with a distance of 36.83m. Luke Klassen set the school record in the Pole Vault with a mark of 2.90m. Steven Petkau jumped a distance of 13.50m in the triple jump for a 6th place finish. 

The Polars track and field teams will next head to the Carleton Relays on Saturday, April 19th.
