St. Bonifacius, Minn. - The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) announced the recipients of their 2025 men's indoor track & field awards on Thursday. The awards are nominated and voted on by the UMAC track & field head coaches. Only results from the UMAC Indoor Championship meet count for consideration in the awards.
Andrew Deedon racked up the awards earning the Track Athlete of the Meet award, Co-Top Scoring Athlete of the Meet award, and All-Conference in the 800m, 1 Mile, 3000m, and the 5000m. He is the first Polars men's indoor athlete in program history to earn All-UMAC for four different events.
Alexander Burnham earned the Field Athlete of the Meet award for the first time in school history. Burnham also earned All-Conference for his performance in the Shot Put.
Steven Petkau earned All-Conference honors for triple jump and
Caden Swoboda earned All-Conference honors in the 800m.
Luke Klassen was named as an All-Sportsmanship selection.
The Polars men earned a program best 3
rd finish at the UMAC Indoor Championships and totaled the most awards for an indoor season in program history.
