Superior, WI – The Polars men's track and field team competed at the UMAC Indoor Championships this weekend and placed 3rd overall with 91 points.
Andrew Deedon showed up for the Crown men as he earned a 1st place finish in the 800m run with a time of 1:59.69, a 1st place finish in the 1 Mile run with a time of 4:28.83, a 2nd place finish in the 3000m run with a time of 9:13.27, and a 2nd place finish in the 5000m run with a time of 16:21.18.
Alexander Burnham won the Shot Put with a throw of 14.56m, a new school record, and took 3rd in the weight throw with a throw of 14.14m, also a new school record.
Caden Swoboda took 2nd place in the 800m run and 4th place in the 1 Mile run. Austin Carlson had a top 10 finish in the 1 Mile run as well. The men's Distance Medley Relay team made up of Austin Carlson, Chandler Gray, Andrew Deedon, and Caden Swoboda took 2nd place with a time of 11:46.13.
