The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) announced the recipients of their 2025 men's soccer awards on Tuesday and Crown had 4 Polars named. The awards are nominated and voted on by the UMAC women's soccer head coaches.
Senior goalkeeper Leo Roque earned UMAC First Team All-Conference honors after another standout season anchoring the Polars' defense. A mainstay in net over the past few years, Roque logged 1,732 minutes, recording 103 saves and holding opponents to a 2.03 goals-against average. He led the entire UMAC in save percentage (.725), further solidifying his reputation as one of the conference's elite goalkeepers.
Forward Ashton Hosler led the Polars' offense and secured a spot on the UMAC Second Team All-Conference. He paced the team with 8 goals, ranking 6th in the conference, while adding 1 assist for a total of 17 points. Hosler also topped the Polars in shots on goal (18), a mark that placed him among the UMAC's top 10, and finished the year with 23 total shots.
Joining Hosler on the UMAC Second Team All-Conference, Alan Montano made a major impact on both ends of the field. The versatile defensive player contributed 3 goals over 1,279 minutes and served as the cornerstone of the Polars' back line, providing stability and leadership throughout the season.
Senior midfielder Pedro Silveira received UMAC Honorable Mention All-Conference recognition for his steady play and leadership. Logging 1,378 minutes, Silveira was instrumental in controlling possession and setting the tempo for the Polars, helping guide the team to another UMAC Conference Tournament appearance.
Rounding out the team's honors, Mason Graven was recognized with the UMAC All-Sportsmanship Award, representing the Polars with integrity and respect both on and off the field.
