Des Moines, IA - Men's soccer advances to regional final.
Just a few hours after the Crown women's soccer team secured their spot in the NCCAA regional final, the men's squad took the field looking to do the same, and they delivered in convincing fashion. Facing a familiar opponent in North Central University, the Polars wasted no time getting on the board, scoring within the first minute of play. The first half continued at a fast pace, with both teams finding the back of the net. Crown entered halftime with a 2–1 lead, thanks to a pair of goals from Noah Feneis, who proved to be the spark for the Polars' offense. In the second half, Crown maintained composure and continued to press the attack, converting two more chances to seal a decisive 4–1 victory. With the win, the Polars join the women's team in advancing to the NCCAA regional finals.
Crown men's soccer will return to action tomorrow at 2:30 p.m., where they'll look to punch their ticket to the national tournament.
