Des Moines, IA - Eagles clinch national tournament with penalty kick win.
Following the women's match earlier that morning, the men's soccer team took the field against the same opponent, hoping to earn a similar result. Facing Faith Baptist once again, the Polars battled through a tightly contested matchup. In the 60th minute, Jared Hernandez broke the deadlock, putting the Polars ahead 1–0. The team held strong defensively as they looked to secure the shutout, but Faith Baptist applied late pressure and managed to find the equalizer in the final seconds, sending the game into overtime.
