NCCAA play took center stage Thursday afternoon at Old National Bank Stadium on the campus of Crown College. With kickoff under sunny skies and temperatures around fifty degrees, it was a perfect day for Minnesota soccer. Before sunset, the Polars found their rhythm early and often. Crown capitalized on multiple scoring opportunities in the first half, putting together an impressive offensive display. Jared Hernandez opened the scoring in the 8th minute, followed quickly by Isaac Shulz in the 9th. The pair of quick strikes set the tone for the match. The scoring surge continued later in the half when Shulz added another goal in the 30th minute, followed by Noah Feneis just a minute later. Not to be outdone, Quinn Bagwell extended the lead with two more goals in the second half, sealing a dominant first-half performance for the Polars.
Crown men's soccer will look to their next home match up this weekend, as they host Jamestown University.
