Superior, WI - Polars defense shines in hard-fought draw.
After a narrow 1–0 loss earlier in the week, Crown women's soccer bounced back with a strong defensive showing on Saturday, earning a 0–0 draw against UW-Superior. The Polars made the trip north for the afternoon match against the Yellowjackets, the only team left undefeated in conference play. Despite the pressure, Crown's defense held firm throughout the 90 minutes. Goalkeeper Rachel Fuller was outstanding in net, recording 17 saves and bringing her season total to 135 which is one of the top marks in the conference.
Crown now turns its attention to next Tuesday's road match against Martin Luther as it looks to build on this momentum.
