Morris, MN - Lone goal in the first half by Morris propels them past Crown women's soccer.
The Polars headed west on Wednesday for a midweek match up against Minnesota Morris. Just eight days earlier, the Cougars had edged out our women's soccer team in a narrow 1-0 victory. Unfortunately for the Polars, history repeated itself on the road. In the 38th minute, Bella Toth scored the lone goal of the match, once again lifting the Cougars to a 1-0 win.
Rachel Fuller had double digit saves once again this season for Crown and
Ellie Schanbacher added a pair of shots to the score sheet.
Women's soccer will stay on the road this weekend for a match up with the Yellowjackets in Superior, Wis.
