Waseca, Minn. - The Men's Cross Country team traveled to Waseca Saturday to race in the Kent Finanger Invite hosted by Luther College, where they took 5th place.
The Polars were led by freshman
David Tuttle, who scored 16 points and placed 22nd overall.
Caden Swoboda scored 19 points for the team, and
Andrew Johnson scored 25 points. The other two scorers on the day for the team were
William Nugent and
Gabriel Filter.
Elijah Scott and
Evan Gibson Also raced on Saturday. The Polars were just finished just 9 points back of the fourth place finisher, and 11 points back of third place.
The Polars will continue preparation next week for three straight meaningful match-ups in the NCCAA and the UMAC. Their next race is Friday, October 24 at the NCCAA Regional, followed by the UMAC Championship on November 1.
