Men's Cross Country with a Top Three Finish at NCCAA National Championship

Joplin, MO - Freshman David Tuttle takes 6th place overall, leading Crown to a 3rd place finish at the Division II NCCAA National Championship.

Following David Tuttles' time of 28:21.6, Caden Swoboda also finished in the top 15 with a time of 29:15.0. Crown's 3rd place finisher was another freshman in William Nugent, who finished with a time of 29:45.4. Freshman Elijah Scott and Sophomore Andrew Johnson were Crown's 4th and 5th place finishers, both in the top 35. Gabriel Filter and Evan Gibson also raced for the Polars; both are freshman.

Crown raced five Freshman and one Sophomore this season. Like the women, the men have a bright future with talented youth with long careers ahead of them. The team will miss the competitive leadership of senior Caden Swoboda next season. The Polars wrapped up their season Friday in Joplin, setting the stage for continued success in the years ahead.
