St. Bonifacius, Minn. - The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) released the conference awards on Wednesday, November 5. The all-conference teams are based on the results of the UMAC Championship, with the top eight athletes receiving first team, and the next eight receiving second team all-conference awards.
Two Polars won awards, each of them receiving two different nominations. Freshman
David Tuttle won UMAC Rookie of the Year, having the best time amongst all freshmen in the conference. Tuttle also earned first team all-conference honors, finishing in fifth place in the Conference race. The other award winner for the Polars was senior
Caden Swoboda. Swoboda was named second team all-conference, and also was the Polars all-sportsmanship award member.Â
