Track and Field Competes at St. Olaf Invitational

Northfield, Minn. – The Polars indoor track and field teams competed at the St. Olaf Invitational on Saturday.

Austin Carlson and Caden Swoboda both ran well in the 800m run. Carlson took 8th with a time of 2:01.67 setting a school record and Swoboda took 9th with a time of 2:01.83.
Andrew Deedon ran the 1000m and set a school record time of 2:42.22. Steven Petkau took 3rd in the triple jump with a distance of 12.69m.

For the Crown women Ella Dufault took 2nd place in the 800m run with a time of 2:26.51. Ruth Brueckner took 4th in the 600m run and set a school record with a time of 1:40.80. Mia Arroyo set a school record time in the 5000m run with a time of 19:36.55. Lindsey Morrison took 4th in the 3000m run with a time of 12:28.72.

The Polars next head to the SDSU Open which starts on Friday, January 31st at 3pm.
