Northfield, Minn. – The Polars indoor track and field teams competed at the St. Olaf Invitational on Saturday.
Austin Carlson and
Caden Swoboda both ran well in the 800m run. Carlson took 8
th with a time of 2:01.67 setting a school record and Swoboda took 9
th with a time of 2:01.83.
Andrew Deedon ran the 1000m and set a school record time of 2:42.22.
Steven Petkau took 3
rd in the triple jump with a distance of 12.69m.
For the Crown women
Ella Dufault took 2
nd place in the 800m run with a time of 2:26.51.
Ruth Brueckner took 4
th in the 600m run and set a school record with a time of 1:40.80.
Mia Arroyo set a school record time in the 5000m run with a time of 19:36.55.
Lindsey Morrison took 4
th in the 3000m run with a time of 12:28.72.
The Polars next head to the SDSU Open which starts on Friday, January 31
st at 3pm.
