Morris, Minn. - The Polars Track and Field Teams competed at the UMAC Outdoor Championships this weekend and placed 4th and 5th respectively.
Camille Ring highlighted the Polars women sprinters winning the 100m dash with a time of 12.76 and the 200m dash with a time of 26.21 a school record. She also placed 5th in the long jump with a distance of 4.80m also a school record.
Brayli Reimer took 2nd in the 100m hurdles with a time of 16.00. She also took 2nd in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:05.18 topping her school record time and 3rd in the 400m run with a time of 1:01.83.
Ella Dufault set the UMAC record and school record in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 11:34.36. She also won the 1500m run with a time of 4:53.13 beating her own school record time. Dufault took 2nd in the 800m with a time of 2:20.97 topping her own school record.
Ruth Brueckner took 3rd in the 400m hurdles and 4th in the 400m run.
Gabby Fawcett took 9th in the Javelin throw and set a school record with a distance of 29.11m. The Crown women's group of

Brayli Reimer, and
Ella Dufault won the 4x800m relay with a time of 10:05.86 shattering the previous school record. The Crown women also set a school record in the 4x100m relay with a 2nd place finishing time of 51.45.
Ashton Hosler set a new school record with his 3rd place finish in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:00.08.
Caden Swoboda won the 800m run with a school record time of 1:57.72.
Andrew Deedon highlighted winning the 300m steeplechase with a school record time of 10:05.58, a 2nd place finish in the 800m run, and a 3rd place finish in the 1500m run.
Alexander Burnham placed 3rd in the shot put, 7th in the hammer throw, and 10th in the discus throw for a school record distance of 34.62m for the Polars.
Steven Petkau won the triple jump with a distance of 14.24m a new school record, took 4th in the high jump, and 5th in the long jump with a school record distance of 6.27m.
Brock Knick took 4th in the Javelin throw.
The Polars 4x100m team of
Josh Johnson,
Seth H. Johnson, Jude McVety, and
Ashton Hosler set a school record with a time of 45.77. The Crown 4x800m relay team took 2nd place.
In total the two teams saw 8 individual and relay UMAC champions and 16 new school records set at the meet. The Polars track and field teams will next head to the NCCAA Outdoor Championships in Greenville, South Carolina starting on Wednesday, May 8th.
