Northfield, MN - The Polars Track and Field teams competed at the Carleton Relays on Saturday and earned 5 new school records.
For the Crown women,
Ella Dufault set a new school record in the 800m run with a time of 2:22.59.
Camille Ring took 2nd place in the 100m dash with a time of 12.97. She also placed 4th in the 200m dash and 6th in the 100m hurdles.
Ruth Brueckner earned a first place finish in the 400m with a time of 1:02.40.
Lily Bandy won the 5000m run and
Brayli Reimer took 1st in the 400m hurdles.
Gabby Fawcett set school records in the Javelin throw and the Hammer throw with distances of 26.12m and 27.30m.
For the Crown men,
Ashton Hosler set a new school record in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:02.28. Hosler also had top ten finishes in the 100m and 200m dashes. Alexadner Burnham had top 3 finishes in the hammer throw and the discus throw.
Steven Petkau broke his own school record in the triple jump with a distance of 13.59m.
The Polars will next head to the Drake Alternative at Gustavus Adolphus College on Saturday, April 27th for the last meet until the UMAC outdoor championships the following week.
