Superior, WI - The Polars Men's Indoor Track and Field team competed at the UMAC Indoor Championships Friday and Saturday and finished in 4th place.
Caden Swoboda earned a 1st place finish in the 800m run with a school record breaking time of 2:02.10. Swoboda also earned top 10 finishes in the 1 Mile run and in the 3000m run.
Andrew Deedon earned a flurry of top 10 finishes as took 3rd in the 800m run, 4th in the 5000m run, 5th in the 3000m run, and 6th in the 1 Mile run.
Ashton Hosler placed 7th in the 200m run.
Steven Petkau took 2nd in the triple jump with a distance of 13.49m a new school record. Petkau placed 6th in the high jump and 9th in the long jump.
Alexander Burnham set a new school record in the shot put with a distance of 13.37m which landed him in 3rd place. Burnham also took 10th in the weight throw.

Caden Swoboda set a new school record in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:40.43 earning 2nd place and a new school record in the Distance Medley with a time of 11:26.13. As a team the Crown men scored 68.5 points and earned a 4th place finish.
The Indoor season comes to a close for the Polars and the Outdoor season begins as the next meet is set for March 23rd at the Vikings Relays in Des Moines, Iowa.
