St. Bonifacius, Minn. - The Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) announced the recipients of their 2024 men's and women's cross country awards on Monday. The top 16 runners for both the men and women at the UMAC Championship were named to the All-Conference Teams with the top eight finishers of their respective races recognized as First Team and the next eight recognized as Second Team.
For the Polars women,
Ella Dufault was named the 2024 UMAC Individual Champion and 1st Team All-UMAC with a first-place finish at the UMAC Championship. The sophomore led the conference field with a time of 22:48.5; the fastest time for a UMAC individual champion since 2017.
Ruth Brueckner,
Olivia Stanley, and
Mia Arroyo earned 2nd Team All-UMAC honors.
Lily Bandy earned thesportsmanship award.
For the Polars men,
Austin Carlson and
Andrew Deedon both earned 1st Team All-UMAC honors.
Caden Swoboda was given the sportsmanship award.
