Winthrop, Minn. – The Polars Cross Country team took second place Saturday at the UMAC Championship and were led by Junior
Ella Dufault as she took first place in the race.

The Polars were led yet again by
Ella Dufault, who wins the conference with a time of 23:12.8, which was five seconds faster than the second place finisher.
Lindsey Morrison also finished in the top five for the Polars finishing with a time of 24:00.5.
Ruth Brueckner was able to crack the top ten at 24:23.0.
Mia Arroyo and
Callie Dufault finished fourteenth and fifteenth and only one second apart at 25:05.3 and 25:06.9. Although her points did not count,
Olivia Stanley was right in the mix finishing in sixteenth place.
Autumn Seiwert,
Gracelyn Foster, and
Abbie Hough also raced for the Polars. The Polars cap off an impressive season in the UMAC with three top ten finishers and all five point scorers in the top fifteen.

Their season is not completely over yet as they will compete in the NCCAA National Championships in Joplin Missouri on Friday, November 14.
