Superior, WI – The Polars women's soccer team took on UW-Superior on Saturday and fell by a score of 1-0.
With UMAC seeding on the line, the final conference match of the season saw Crown battle throughout the first half. The Yellowjackets got on the scoreboard in the 67th minute after a quiet first half. UW-Superior closed out the contest with the lead. The Yellowjackets totaled 32 shots compared to Crown's 6.
Rachel Fuler in goal had a spectacular evening totaling 17 saves and just the one goal allowed.
The Polars fall to 6-8-2 on the season and 6-4-2 in UMAC play. The Polars will next head into the UMAC postseason tournament on the road where they will once again take on the number one seeded UW-Superior Yellowjackets on Wednesday, November 6th at 7pm.
