St. Bonifacius, Minn. - Crown men's soccer took on Faith Baptist in the NCCAA DII Regional Tournament on Tuesday and earned the 4-1 win.
The Polars scored three goals in the first 45 minutes.
Alan Montano scored the first goal for the Polars giving Crown the 1-0 lead in the 27th minute.
Ashton Hosler scored next for the Polars, driving it in to take the 2-0 lead..
Colin Vilme scored the Polars third and final goal of the first half, giving the Polars a 3-0 lead going into halftime.
Crown came out of halftime and added to their lead with a goal from
Juan Fernando Arriaga in the 56th minute. Faith Baptist added their first goal of the match in the 58th minute making the score 4-1. That's where the score would finish and the Polars move on to the NCCAA DII North Region final.
Crown will play North Central tomorrow Wednesday, November 12th at 4:00 pm, to decide who will be the NCCAA DII North Region Champions.
