Mankato, Minn. - The Polars men's soccer team battled with Bethany Lutheran on Wednesday on the road and fell 3-0.
Bethany Lutheran got the scoring going early scoring the first goal of the match in the 13th minute. THe Polars battled closely with the Vikings in the first half as Crown had 4 shots comapred tom 5 shots from Bethany Lutheran. At the break the score favored the Vikings 1-0. Bethany Lutheran outshot the Polars in the second half and scored two more goals and the final score favored the Vikings 3-0.
Crown was awarded five cards in the contest with one red card in the 74th minute.
Leo Roque totaled three saves in the contest.
The Polars fall to 9-9 on the season and 9-4 in UMAC play and will next play Trinity Bible tomorrow October 31st at 3pm in their final non-conference match of the regular season.
