St. Peter, Minn. – The Polars outfield track and field teams competed at Gustavus Adolphus College on Saturday.
Ashton Hosler set the school record in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 18.19 and placed 5th. Nate Tomlinson bested his own school record time in the 400m with a time of 50 seconds flat. Abel Krause, Casey Struthers, Evan Gibson, and Andrew Johnson set personal bests in the 800m. TJ Nelson and Elijah Scott set personal bests in the shot put and 3000m steeple.
For the Crown women Camille Ring once again bested her 100m hurdles school record time with a time of 14.87. Brayli Reimer and Grace Thompson set personal bests on the 200m. Lindsey Morrison bested her own time in the 400m for a school record with a time of 58.82 and a first place finish.
Abbie Hough finished 11th with a personal best and school record in the pole vault with a mark of 2.54m. Callie Dufault, Olivia Stanley, Ruth Brueckner, and Gracelyn Foster all set personal bests in the event.
Crown will next head to the UMAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships next weekend starting on Friday May 1st and finishing up on Saturday May 2nd up north in Superior, Wisconsin.
