Minneapolis, Minn. - The Polars track and field team competed yesterday in a midweek event at the Gary Wilson Invite.
For the Crown men, Nate Tomlinson set a school record in the 400m with a time of 51.45.
Ashton Hosler had a season best time in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:01.20.
David Tuttle placed 15th in the 3000m steeplechase.
Alexander Burnham took 11th in the shot put with a throw of 13.34m. The Polars tallied four personal bests from
Casey Struthers,
Evan Gibson,
Andrew Johnson, and
Alexander Burnham.
The Crown women were highlighted by
Camille Ring setting outdoor school records in the 100m and the 100m hurdles with times 12.54 and 14.90. The Polars relay team of
Ruth Brueckner,
Ella Dufault,
Lindsey Morrison, and
Grace Thompson set a school record in the 4x400m relay with a time of 4:01.53.
The Polars next head to the Drake Alternative at Gustavus Adolphus College on Saturday, April 25th.
