Waconia, Minn. - The women's tennis team hosted the University of Wisconsin-River Falls on Wednesday afternoon, falling 7-0 in a match rescheduled from March 27.
After dropping the No. 1 doubles match, Amy Eckstrom and Reagan Cocking battled to keep the Polars' hopes of securing the doubles point alive, but came up short in a tight 7-5 contest. River Falls carried the momentum from the doubles sweep into singles play, winning all six matches to complete the 7-0 victory on the road.
The Polars return to action Thursday, April 16, traveling to face Martin Luther as they look to remain unbeaten in conference play.
