Winona, Minn. - The Polars men's and women's tennis teams battled with Saint Mary's on Friday evening but both lost by scores of 2-5 and 1-6.
For the Crown men
Ean Clarke won the #2 singles match handily by scores of 6-2 and 6-1.
Matt Comings earned a #4 singles victory by scores of 6-2 and 6-2. Clarke and Comings both won their 4th singles matches of the season.
David Comings lost a close #1 singles match by scores of 3-6 and 5-7. The Polars battled through the doubles matches as well dropping #1 and #2 doubles by scores of 4-6.
For the Crown women
Maya Wuotila earned a victory in the #3 singles match winning by scores of 6-1 and 6-2.
Xeng Her lost the #2 singles match by a tiebreaker. The Polars women were unable to take any of the doubles matches as the women fell in the match 1-6.
The Polars will have a few weeks off before returning to action on March 16th and 17th down in Orlando, Flordia when the Crown men take on Bethel and the women take on Edgewood.
