Minneapolis, Minn. - The Polars indoor track and field teams battled at the Snowshoe Open at the University of Minnesota on Friday.
For the Polars men, Nate Tomlinson set a school record in the 200m dash with a time of 23.26. Alexander Burnham had a top 10 finish in the shot put. Eddie Hallowanger finished top 20 in the long jump. Tomlinson and Andrew Johnson set personal bests.
For the Polars women, Ella Dufault broke her own school record time in the mile run with a time of 5:15.13. Brayli Reimer finished 10th in the 60m hurdles. Olivia Stanley, Ruth Brueckner, Ari Klein, Grace Thompson, and Lindsey Morrison all had top 15 finishes. The Crown women totaled eleven personal bests at the event.
The Polars will next head to the UMAC Indoor Track and Field Championships starting on Friday, February 27th.
