St. Bonifacius, Minn. – Crown College Athletics announced the promotion of Jared Gilmore to Associate Athletic Director for Communications and Operations. 

He previously served as the Assistant Athletic Director for Communications and Operations, the Sports Information and Operations Director for the 2022-23 and 2023-24 academic years, and an assistant football coach for a season.

"Jared has been a vital part of the growth of this department and we are excited to have him step into this role," said Director of Athletics Steve Tebbs.

As a vital part of the Crown athletic department he has grown the Polars marketing efforts, handled day-to-day internal operations that helped contribute to the institution's best athletics department winning percentage in an academic year, full roster sizes, and the department's highest GPA in an academic year since joining the NCAA in 2008.

"I am blessed to serve the student-athletes here at Crown and look forward to continue building this department with Christ at the center," said Gilmore.  
    
Gilmore will continue to oversee the athletic communications efforts along with game operations and take on new leadership roles for the department and institution.
