Jared Gilmore begins his fourth year on staff and was named Associate Athletic Director for Communications and Operations in June of 2025.
He served as the Assistant Athletic Director for Communications and Operations from March of 2024 until June of 2025. He oversees the athletics website, athletics social media, department operations, media relations, facilities scheduling, and athletics communications. He also was an assistant football coach for Crown, coaching defensive backs in the 2022 season and coached the Polars first D3football.com All-Region football player.
As a vital part of the Crown athletic department he has grown the social footprint, led hiring committees, and handled day-to-day operations that helped contribute to the institution’s best athletics department yearly winning percentage in the NCAA-era (since 2008), full roster sizes, and the school’s largest enrollment ever. In the past three years Crown has totaled 2 National Championships, 2 UMAC Championships, 184 UMAC All-Conference Awards, 403 Academic All-UMAC Awards, and 51 NCCAA All-Americans.
In his first three years on staff social media following has increased by 93%. Yearly social media impressions have increased tenfold and yearly engagements have increased by 700%. The engagement rate for Polars social media has increased by almost 3%. He has also led an 11% increase in unique users per year on the Polars Athletics Website and a 6% increase in unique users per year on Polars live streams.
Jared was a three-year starter at Quarterback for the Crown football team holding 11 school records at the end of his playing career. He totaled 519 completions, 5636 passing yards, and 50 total touchdowns. During his time at Crown he was active on campus, serving as student body president, working with campus safety, and graduating with honors. Gilmore also participated in Tennis during his time as a student-athlete winning the teams first individual match of the 2021 season.
Gilmore previously served as an intern and graduate assistant with Crown’s operations office, holding duties which included managing the campus store.

Crown College Athletics has a bright future and I am beyond excited to be able to serve our student athletes”, noted Gilmore.
Jared received his Master of Business Administration degree from Crown College in August of 2024 and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Christian Studies from Crown in 2022. He is married to Gracie Gilmore, a former standout Crown volleyball player, and enjoys fishing in his spare time.
