Orlando, FL - The Polars tennis teams battled with Springfield and St. Lawrence on Monday and fell by scores of 7-0 in all four matches.
The Crown men struggled on the day as
David Comings and
Dawson Richardson competed in the #1 doubles match and fell 6-1 and 6-2 in their two matches.
Matt Comings,
Gavin Leuthold,
Austin Droeger, and
Tyler Kretsinger all competed for the Polars men.
For the Crown women
Marissa Otremba and
Elyse Steffen fought hard in the #3 doubles match against Lawrence, but were unable to secure the victory as they dropped the match 7-5.
Annie Doyle battled in the #3 single match against the Saints falling 6-4 and 6-2.
Amy Eckstrom,
Xeng Her, and
Amanda Helser all competed for the Polars women.
The Polars men fall to 1-7 on the season and the Polars women fall to 0-8 on the season and will both next take on Western Connecticut State at 8am (CST) and St. Norbert College at 12pm (CST) tomorrow March 18th.
