Minneapolis, Minn. - The Polars men's and women's tennis teams faced of with Hastings College on Friday night and fell 6-1 and 7-0.
Dawson Richardson highlighted the Crown men with a #3 singles victory with scores of 2-6, 6-3, and 10-4.
Grant Oakland battled in the #6 singles spot but fell in a tiebreaker.
David Comings,
Matt Comings,
Austin Droeger, and
Tyler Kretsinger all competed for the Polars as they dropped their contest 6-1.
For the Crown women
Amy Eckstrom and
Xeng Her lost 6-2 in the #1 double match.
Annie Doyle and
Amanda Helser fell 6-2 in the #2 doubles match.
Marissa Otremba and
Elyse Steffen also competed for the Polars as they dropped their contest 7-0.
Polars tennis returns to action Monday, March 17th as they head down to Orlando, Florida over spring break as they take on Springfield College and St. Lawrence starting at 10am.
