St. Bonifacius, Minn. - The Polars men's basketball team faced off with North Central on Friday night and fell by a score of 83-76.
The first hafl went the Rams way early, but Crown was able to chip away cutting the North Central lead to just 2 points after a
John Grigsby three point basket. The second half was back and forth as both teams gained the lead. A late North Central surge of offense with 2 minutes to play doomed the Polars and Crown fell 83-76.
Tyrus Buckner scored 25 points and totaled 12 rebounds.
Tyler Smith and
John Grigsby both had 13 points in the game.
Micah Ladd added 11 assists to his season total.
Crown falls to 14-14 on the season and will finish out the season with a contest against Manhattan Christian tomorrow, March 15th at 2:45pm.
