St. Bonifacius, Minn. - The Polars men's basketball team faced off with Manhattan Christian on Saturday and came out with a 94-67 victory.
The Thunder jumped out in front 16-9 early in the first half until the Polars battled back to take the 29-27 lead after a
Carter Behne three point basket with 7:08 to play in the first half.
Tyrus Buckner knocked in seven buckets in the first half and helped push the Polars out in front at halftime 42-32. Crown continued to find their rhythm pouring on the points in the second half and never looked back taking home the 94-67 victory.
Buckner led the Crown offense with a 31 point effort bringing his career total to 1,089 points in just two seasons.
Carter Behne finished the day with 22 points going 9-12 from the field and 4-5 from three point range. Behne finishes the 2024-25 campaign with a three point shooting percentage of 43%.
Micah Ladd added 5 more assists to break his own season record with 159 assists.
Tyler Smith finished the day with 8 rebounds and 2 blocks.
The Polars close out the 2024-25 season with a season record of 15-14 and a UMAC record of 6-8.
