Minneapolis, Minn. - The Polars men's basketball team competed for the NCCAA DII National Championship on Saturday and fell by a score of 76-51.
Crown struggled early on falling behind 10-3 before battling back to make the score 15-13. From that point forward the Crown offense fell flat trailing North Central at the half 40-25. The Polars would fall in the end by a score of 76-51.
Tyler Smith finished with 16 points and 7 rebounds capping off a record setting season in multiple statistical categories.
Anthony Knight had 10 points and
Parker Behne finished with 6 points on the day.
The Crown men finish the 2025-26 season with a record of 17-14 for a fifth straight winning season under head coach
Luke Herbert.
