Owatonna, Minn. - The Polars tennis teams both battled with Ripon on Saturday and fell by scores of 6-1.
For the Crown women
Xeng Her and
Amy Eckstrom combined for a #1 doubles victory 6-4. Eckstrom pulled out a #1 singles victory with scores of 7-6 and 6-4.
Annie Doyle fell just short in the #3 singles match falling in the tiebreaker set 10-5.
Matt and
David Comings won the #1 doubles match for the men as well by a score of 7-6.
Matt Comings earned a #2 singles victory by scores of 6-2 and 6-1.
Tyler Kretsinger battled in the #5 singles match but was unable to pull out a match win falling in the tiebreaker 10-6.
The Polars tennis teams have a few weeks off and return to action on Friday, March 14th against Hastings College in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
