St. Bonifacius, Minn. – The Polars women's basketball team faced off with Northland College on Saturday and came out on top by a score of 82-56.
Crown jumped out in front early 19-3 after multiple made three-point shots. The Polars managed to tally 26 points in the first quarter and allow just 6. The second quarter was almost even with Crown outscoring the Lumberjills 20-17. The second half saw Crown extend the lead in the third quarter and the Lumberjills cut down the Crown lead in the 4
th. The Polars came out on top 82-56.
Brayli Reimer scored 21 points leading the way on the offensive end of the floor. Reimer came up just one assist short of a triple double as she totaled 12 rebounds and 9 assists.
Isabelle Sager totaled 18 points and 9 rebounds. Sydney Cotton tallied 10 rebounds and
Kaleigh Glasgow totaled 12 points.
The Polars move to 4-19 on the season and 3-9 in UMAC play and will next go on the road to take on UW-Superior on Wednesday, February 19
th at 7:15pm.
