Kissimee, FL - Women's soccer season comes to a close as they drop season finale to Great Lakes Christian College.
Hoping to rebound from yesterday's tournament opener against Southern Adventist University, Crown College women's soccer faced Great Lakes Christian College in their second and final pool-play match. The first half proved to be a defensive battle, with neither team willing to see its season come to an end. The Crusaders generated 14 shots, but the Polars' goalkeeper turned away all four attempts on target to keep the match scoreless at the break. The second half followed a similar pattern, as Great Lakes continued to apply pressure with 15 more shots. This time, they were able to break through, scoring in the 66th and again in the 86th minute.
With the 2–0 result, the Polars' NCCAA National Championship run came to an end, concluding a determined postseason journey that carried them to the national stage.
