Following an impressive semifinal win, the women's soccer team aimed to extend their NCCAA postseason success in the regional final against Faith Baptist. Earlier in the season, the Polars had already secured a victory over Faith on their home turf, and they looked to repeat that performance.
Just nine minutes into the match, Ellie Schanbacher found the back of the net, giving the Polars an early lead. From there, it was a defensive showcase, with the team's newly named all-conference players anchoring a steadfast back line. When the final horn sounded, the Polars had preserved the shutout, clinching their spot in the NCCAA National Tournament.
